Xscape's Winter Horror Challenge
Winter may be slow, but horror fans don’t hibernate.
Our Winter Horror Challenge rewards loyalty members who come back for multiple horror movies during January and February 2026. Watch different eligible horror releases, earn your regular loyalty points, and unlock bonus points just for surviving the season.
How It Works
- Be an active loyalty member; both plans, Understudy and Movie Star
- See different eligible horror movies during the challenge period (January - March 1st)
- One punch is earned per movie title (multiple tickets or repeat viewings do not earn extra punches)
- The more movies you see, the more bonus points you earn
Bonus Point Tiers
- 2 movies → 200 bonus points
- 4 movies → 500 bonus points
- 6 movies → 1,000 bonus points
Bonus points are awarded at the highest tier achieved and are added on top of your regular loyalty earnings.

Important Details
- Paid tickets only; refunded tickets, passes, vouchers, and loyalty redemptions do not qualify
- One punch per movie title per loyalty account
- All purchases are tracked through our ticketing system
How to Claim Your Bonus Points
After the program ends, qualifying members must submit a short form on our website. Submissions must be completed by March 12, 2026. All entries are reviewed and validated before bonus points are awarded.

What is the Winter Horror Challenge?
The Winter Horror Challenge is a limited-time loyalty program designed to reward horror fans for coming back to the theatre during January and February 2026. Loyalty members can earn bonus points by seeing multiple eligible horror movies during the challenge period.
The more movies you survive, the more points you earn. Scary good, right?
Who can participate?
This challenge is open to active loyalty members only.
You must be a loyalty member at the time you purchase your ticket in order for the movie to count toward the challenge.

Which movies are part of the challenge?
Only the following movies count toward the Winter Horror Challenge:
- We Bury The Dead
- Primate
- 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
- Night Patrol
- Return to Silent Hill
- Send Help
- Iron Lung
- The Strangers: Chapter 3
- Scream 7
Movies outside of this list do not qualify. Eligible Movies are subject to change or increase as weekly bookings are confirmed.
How do punches work?
- One punch = one eligible movie title
- You can only earn one punch per movie, no matter how many times you see it
- Purchasing multiple tickets to the same movie still counts as one punch
- Watching the same movie at multiple showtimes does not earn additional punches
This challenge is about coming back for different movies.
How many bonus points can I earn?
Bonus points are awarded based on the number of different eligible movies you see:
- See 2 movies → 200 bonus points
- See 4 movies → 500 bonus points
- See 6 movies → 1,000 bonus points
Bonus points are awarded at the highest tier you qualify for (they do not stack).
Do I still earn regular loyalty points?
Yes! You will continue to earn your regular loyalty points on ticket and concession purchases. Bonus points from the challenge are awarded on top of your normal earnings.
What tickets qualify?
To qualify for the Winter Horror Challenge:

Only successfully completed, paid ticket purchases count toward punches.
Do all tickets I buy count?
Punches are awarded per movie title, not per ticket.
Examples:
- Buying 4 tickets to We Bury The Dead = 1 punch
- Seeing Iron Lung twice = 1 punch
- Seeing 4 different eligible movies = 4 punches
How is my progress tracked?
All qualifying ticket purchases are tracked automatically through our point-of-sale system using your loyalty account.

How do I receive my bonus points?
To receive bonus points, you must:
- Complete the Winter Horror Challenge by seeing eligible movies
- Submit the online completion form on our website after the program ends
- Submit your form by March 12, 2026
All submissions will be reviewed and validated before bonus points are added to your account.
What is the submission deadline?

Forms submitted after this date will not be eligible for bonus points.
Can I combine punches from multiple loyalty accounts?
No. Punches and bonus points are tied to one loyalty account per member and cannot be combined or transferred.
Can I transfer bonus points to someone else?
No. Bonus points have no cash value and are non-transferable.
What happens if my ticket is refunded?
If a ticket is refunded, it will not count toward the Winter Horror Challenge and will not earn a punch.
When will bonus points be added?
Bonus points will be added to qualifying accounts after submissions are reviewed and validated. Please allow time for processing after the March 12 deadline.
