PRIDE & PREJUDICE (2005)
Much-loved adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel. In an era of arranged marriages, Elizabeth Bennet (Keira Knightley) is determined to marry for love. To her amazement, she finds the one person she cannot stand is the one man she may not be able to resist. With Donald Sutherland, Brenda Blethyn, Judi Dench, and Matthew Macfadyen as the proud and equally amazed Mr. Darcy. (“You have bewitched me, body and soul.”) Rated PG

E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (1982)
When 10-year-old Elliott (Henry Thomas) finds a creature from outer space in his backyard, he decides he’s found a new friend (“I’m keeping him.”) Steven Spielberg’s heartwarming science fiction blockbuster (featuring a breakout performance by 6-year-old Drew Barrymore as Elliott’s little sister) received nine Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. (“E.T. phone home.”) Rated PG

FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF (1986)
40th ANNIVERSARY
High school senior Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) raises playing hooky to an art form in this 80’s comedy from writer/director John Hughes. Whether it’s singing from a parade float (“Shake it up baby, now…”) or crashing a fancy restaurant, Ferris knows how to show his friends a good time. (“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”) Rated PG-13

SPEED RACER (2008)
Start your engines and fasten your seat belts for this high-octane, live-action adventure based on the popular anime TV series. Emile Hirsch stars as a race car driver out to avenge his brother’s death and save his family’s business. With ground-breaking special effects, this cult classic from the Wachowskis (The Matrix) is a campy and insanely creative visual experience. John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, and Christina Ricci co-star. (“Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer, Go!”) Rated PG

MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL (1975)
British comedy troupe Monty Python applies their off-the-wall humor to the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. With Graham Chapman (“I am Arthur, King of the Britons!”), Terry Gilliam as the Bridge-keeper (“What…is your quest?”), Eric Idle as Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir-Lancelot and John Cleese as the incredibly determined Black Knight. (“It’s just a flesh wound!”) Rated PG
